Adelaide's Bank SA Under 17 team have completed the recent carnival in 3rd spot after a strong fortnight. The Buffs ended the minor round on top of their zone but fell in the knockout semi final to Country Red.
Adelaide also contributed 4 players to the SACA Under 15 representative side in the competition, whilst Whyalla boy, Ben Pengelley, was claimed by one of the Country teams and made 159 runs at 32 for them.
Angus Brooks had a ripping carnival, making 161 runs at 32, and taking 9 wickets at 17. The next run-getters were Jarrad Satanek with 72 at 14, and Brad Fallon with 70 at 23.
Jimmy Kain continued his good season with the ball, leading the way with 11 poles at an average of 12. Declan Bayly and Brad Fallon came away with 6 wickets apiece.
