Four of Adelaide's 8 regular teams have made it through to the top third of their respective ladders and earned the right to compete in SACA's Semi Finals.
Tea Tree Gully and Kensington lead the charge with each having 6 of their 8 teams into finals, whilst Sturt and ourselves have 4 and University 3 (of 4). Prospect, Woodville and Port Adelaide find themselves finished for the year in all grades.
3rd Grade:
Adelaide 227 (Economou 63, Reekie 50, Sutton 44no) defeated University 220 (Kain 3/36 + 3 run-outs).
Zach Reekie was fantastic at the top of our order before we fell into trouble with just Ben Sutton holding his own in the middle order. Big Tynan 'Tiny' Economou strode in at 8/116 and proceeded to smash the game back into a contest with 63 off 53 balls. A typically terrific, tight bowling performance from this side (together with a classy job in the field where we held our nerve well) saw us restrict Uni to 220 in a nailbiter.
Under 16 Red:
Tea Tree Gully 8/104 (Brad Roberts 2/12, Declan Bayly 2/18) defeated Adelaide all out 96 batting first.
Under 16 White:
Adelaide 119 (Skeet Manuel 46, Jack Luders 43) defeated Tea Tree Gully 80 (Will Nimmo-Jones 4/18)
Under 14 White:
Adelaide 7/96 (Jacob Newman 33) defeated Kensington 92 (Jacob Newman 3/15 off 8) who batted first.
